A respected and progressive veterinary production consultancy based in Pretoria, is seeking a motivated Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis. This unique opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian with a passion for agriculture, responsible farming, and production animal health who is eager to grow within a practice that actively encourages future ownership.

About the Practice

• This well-established consultancy specialises in veterinary and production support for commercial pig farms across South Africa and selected neighbouring regions. The practice currently consists of five veterinarian shareholders who work collaboratively, offering strong mentorship and support to new team members.

While experience in production animal medicine is advantageous, it is not essential.

Due to the practice’s strong focus on long-term partnership and shareholder opportunities, candidates younger than 35 years are preferred to allow meaningful participation in future ownership.

What the Role Offers

• Starting salary: R55,000 – R60,000 per month, depending on experience
• Travel reimbursement
• SAVC registration and CPD support are fully funded
• Company laptop and cellphone
• 15 days of annual leave
• Monday–Friday working schedule (weekends reserved for biosecurity downtime)
• Structured onboarding with shadowing and mentorship, gradually transitioning to independent client management
