The role

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and uphold exceptional standards of ethical and compassionate veterinary care

Examine, assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of small animal medical cases

Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures

Conduct and interpret diagnostic laboratory, imaging, and ultrasound examinations where required

Prescribe and manage appropriate medical treatments

Promote preventative healthcare through vaccinations, wellness programmes, and client education

Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, wellness, and responsible pet ownership

Deliver compassionate end-of-life care, including euthanasia when necessary

Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records

Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, local regulations, and hospital policies

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements

Veterinary degree from the University of Pretoria or another recognised accredited institution

Registered, or eligible for registration, to practise veterinary medicine in Bermuda

Passion for small animal medicine and surgery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

Commitment to delivering outstanding patient and client care

Professional, proactive, and dedicated approach to veterinary practice

Willingness to relocate to Bermuda and establish a long-term career on the island
