PART TIME VETERINARIAN | GAUTENG, Johannesburg South Area

An established and busy small animal veterinary practice in Johannesburg South is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Veterinarian to join its professional and patient-focused team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a veterinarian looking for a flexible part-time position while continuing to provide high-quality clinical care in a supportive practice environment.

The role offers:

Afternoon shifts 2–3 times per week
Approximately 2 Saturdays per month

The role

Conducting routine and advanced medical consultations
Diagnosing and managing a wide range of small animal medical conditions
Performing surgical procedures and overseeing perioperative patient care
Delivering compassionate, clear client communication and education
Managing in-hospital patients and contributing to treatment planning
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to hospital protocols

Minimum requirements

BVSc Degree
SAVC Registration
Updated CPD Points
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Dedication to continuing education and professional growth.
A love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
