The role

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry

Minimum requirements

Be a qualified and HPCSA-registered Optometrist.
Be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be committed to providing outstanding patient care and service.
Have a professional, empathetic, and patient-centred approach.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
