The role

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
  • Provide expert advice on eyewear selection, lens options, and contact lenses
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and developments in optometry

Minimum requirements

  • Optometry Degree
  • HPCSA Registration
  • Updated CPD Points
  • Passionate about providing exceptional eye care services and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with a diverse clientele
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to conduct thorough eye examinations
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to contribute to the growth of the practice
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Fluent in Afrikaans & English
