An established and exceptionally busy small animal practice in the Durban area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join its dynamic team. As a key member of the clinical team, the successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring patients receive attentive care throughout their hospital stay, during procedures, and throughout recovery. Responsibilities will include maintaining excellent hygiene standards, preparing the hospital and theatre for procedures, and managing medical equipment, medication and consumables to ensure the practice operates efficiently.
The role will also involve supervising orderlies and Animal Health Technicians, supporting daily clinical operations, and providing the opportunity to perform routine dental procedures.
